Mary Donlon Hall - named for one of the country's first female judges, a Cornell alumna - is known for its sociable ambiance and close-knit community. The building has an expansive, light-filled first floor with seating areas, a lounge, and a library. The theater-style multipurpose room, with its large-screen TV, is a popular place for students to hang out and play Dance-Dance-Revolution, watch Monday Night Football, and have movie nights.

Donlon Hall also offers great leadership opportunities for its residents. The community has a very active Hall Council that organizes events ranging from volleyball tournaments to Donlon's own version of the World Series of Poker. Residents also have the opportunity to serve on the Judicial Board.
